Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift | 3x12 Hours (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services across multiple care areas including Floors, ED, ICU, Peds, Peds ED, and PACU
• Administer treatments including MDI, nebulizers, ABGs, bedside PFTs, NIF, VC, trach care, O2 therapy, CPT (flutter manual or vest), CPAP, BiPAP, and HHFNC
• Transport patients as needed within the facility
• Participate in call and float assignments as required
• Complete one day of didactics and two days of orientation covering assigned areas

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapist experience required
• Experience working in the ED and Adult ICU required
• BLS certification required
• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) credential required
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR required
• Prior travel experience required — first-time travelers will not be considered
• Must live at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates will not be accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PALS certification preferred
• Experience working across diverse care settings including Peds and PACU
