Contract | 13 Weeks | Days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, alternating weekends) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct respiratory therapy care to patients in an acute care hospital setting
• Assess, treat, and monitor patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders
• Administer respiratory treatments and manage ventilator patients as required
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient care activities
• Rotate across applicable units as needed and work every other weekend as required

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• NRP certification required
• Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital experience required
• Must maintain a permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2 or more years of respiratory therapy experience in an acute care setting
• Experience with ventilator management and critical care patients
• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and workflows
