Travel: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Days

Contract | Travel | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours Weekly Guaranteed | 13-Week Assignment | Projected Start: July 20, 2026

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate therapeutic gas administration apparatus and mechanical ventilators
  • Provide emergency care including external cardiac massage, artificial respiration, and assistance with cardiopulmonary resuscitation
  • Maintain accurate charts containing patient identification and therapy information
  • Deliver respiratory care, emergency care, and intensive care services as needed
  • Float to other units as needed to support patient care demands
  • Work weekends as needed per unit scheduling requirements
Required Qualifications
  • Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
  • Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license in the state of practice
  • Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
  • Minimum 1 year of respiratory care, emergency care, and intensive care experience
  • Strong knowledge of pulmonary function and pulmonary rehabilitation
  • Experience with respiratory therapy equipment and EMR systems (EPIC)
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Basic nursery experience
  • Familiarity with acute care hospital environments including surgical, obstetric, and pediatric services
