    Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

    Milwaukee, WI

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract (13 Weeks) | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Guaranteed Hours Per Week | Every Other Weekend Rotation

    Key Responsibilities
    • Manage respiratory care patients across PICU and Level IV NICU settings, with potential float to general med/surg acute care and emergency units
    • Perform ventilator management utilizing equipment including Servo I, Servo U, LTV, Astral, Trilogy, and oscillators
    • Perform and assist with intubations, extubations, suctioning, and respiratory treatments
    • Provide care involving invasive and non-invasive ventilation modalities including CPAP, BiPAP, RAM cannula, NAVA ventilation, PEP, and INO
    • Manage tracheostomy patients and support care across pediatric cardiac, medical, and surgical ICU environments
    Required Qualifications
    • NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
    • Active Wisconsin RRT license required (Act 10 temporary licensure accepted if permanent license is pending)
    • AHA BLS, AHA PALS, and NRP certifications required
    • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in pediatric critical care or NICU
    • Must be able to function independently in both PICU and Level IV NICU environments
    • Associate Degree (AD) in Respiratory Therapy or related field required
    • Influenza vaccine required; no exemptions accepted
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with Epic Clinical Documentation (Clin Doc) strongly preferred
    • Familiarity with NAVA ventilation and advanced pediatric respiratory modalities preferred
    • Prior travel or contract assignment experience in a pediatric acute care setting preferred
