Registered Nurse (RN) - Cath Lab/IR

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology (IR) for a temporary travel position. The role is focused on providing high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in a Cath Lab setting. This position requires the nurse to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Shift Details

• Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• Duration: 8 weeks

Key Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor patient responses during procedures.
• Assess and document patient conditions prior to and following interventional procedures.
• Assist with patient preparation and recovery in the Cath Lab environment.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver patient-centered care.
• Educate patients and their families regarding procedures, post-operative care, and overall health management.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a Cath Lab or IR setting.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
