Travel Cath Lab RN / RCIS –  | Sierra Vista, AZ

Position Highlights

 

  • Department: Cath Lab / Interventional Cardiology
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
  • On-Call: Required (12+ call days per schedule)
  • Bi-weekly Orientation

Required Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience
  • RCIS certification required
  • Scrub experience required
  • IR (Interventional Radiology) experience required

Required Certifications

  • RN License or RRT/RCIS (per facility requirements)
  • RCIS Required for Tech candidates

Must-Have Skills

  • Diagnostic & Interventional Cardiology procedures
  • Cath Lab scrub experience
  • IR procedures including:
    • Vascular embolization
    • Port placements
    • Vascular stenting
    • Nephrostomy tube placement

Preferred Experience

  • Manifold setup
  • IVUS
  • FFR
  • IVL
  • Impella
  • IABP
  • Pre/Post procedure recovery
  • RCIS credential

Additional Responsibilities

Cath Lab staff also assist with:

  • Stress Testing
  • TEE (Transesophageal Echocardiogram)
  • Tilt Table Testing
  • Occasional IR coverage

Equipment & Charting

  • EHR: Cerner
  • Imaging: GE Fluoroscopy
  • Transitioning to CHANGE Hemodynamics system

Patient Population

  • Adult
  • Primarily Coronary Artery Disease (CAD) and interventional cardiac patients
