Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN Case Manager for an acute care hospital setting, requiring BSN and inpatient case management experience.

Details

• Inpatient Case Management department within an acute care hospital
• AM shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm
• Uses Epic for charting
• Floating to sister hospital nearby as needed
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active RN license (NJ or Compact) required
• BSN required
• CCMC certification preferred
• 2+ years of acute care experience strongly preferred
• Inpatient Case Management experience required
• Managed Care and Case Management skills required

Additional Information

• Coordinate patients through their acute care hospitalization
• Manage all aspects of discharge planning and transition process
• Perform utilization management and quality screenings
• Local candidates accepted
• Travelers may stay on assignment up to one calendar year from initial start date, after which a 30-60 day break is required before returning
