Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Case Management RN for a community hospital setting requiring CA RN license and prior case management experience.

Details

• Case Manager unit in a community hospital setting
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• Day shift, 5x8 hours, 0800-1630
• Patient ratio of 1:25 for both weekday and weekend shifts
• Weekend coverage required on an alternating basis
• No floating required

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Case Manager
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute care setting
• Community hospital experience required
• Teaching hospital and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Cerner charting system experience required
• Skills in case management/utilization review, admission criteria, discharge planning, and plan of care
