Post-Surgical Nursing Position

Job Description

This position involves providing care to patients in a post-surgical setting who have undergone colorectal and urologic surgeries. The ideal candidate will work closely with Wound Ostomy and Continence Nurses to address ostomy and wound care needs. The role requires managing post-operative patients with TPN, NG tubes, and central lines.

Schedule

This is a night shift position from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, requiring 36 hours a week.

Required Experience and Qualifications

• 1 year of experience required at a 600+ bed academic hospital with passing competency testing score.
• 2 years of experience is preferred, with no testing required.
• Epic experience is required.
• Competency test must be completed within 24 hours of submission.
• Navy blue scrubs are required for this position.
