Talented Medical Solutions is seeking an experienced and highly motivated RNCVOR Surgical Technologist to join our dedicated cardiovascular surgical services team. As a CVOR Tech, you will play a critical role in supporting cardiovascular surgeons and the operating room team during complex cardiac and vascular procedures while ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and surgical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the cardiovascular operating room before, during, and after surgical procedures.

• Ensure all instruments, supplies, implants, and equipment are available and functioning properly.

• Anticipate the needs of surgeons during cardiac and vascular procedures.

• Maintain sterile technique and adhere to infection prevention protocols.

• Assist with procedures including CABG, valve replacements, TAVR, vascular surgeries, and other cardiovascular interventions.

• Handle, prepare, and manage surgical instruments, grafts, and specialty cardiovascular equipment.

• Participate in surgical counts and documentation according to hospital policy.

• Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia providers, perfusionists, nurses, and support staff.

• Respond appropriately to emergency situations and maintain a calm, professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Required

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.

• Current Surgical Technologist certification (CST) preferred or required per state regulations.

• Minimum of 1 year of recent CVOR experience.

• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular surgical instrumentation and procedures.

• Current BLS certification.

Preferred

• Two or more years of dedicated CVOR experience.

• Experience with open-heart procedures.

• Knowledge of cardiovascular implants, grafts, and advanced surgical technologies.

Completion Bonus Details

Eligible candidates will receive a $10,000 Completion Bonus paid according to hospital policy upon successful completion of the agreed employment commitment period and performance requirements.
