Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) – 13-Week Travel Nursing Contract in Newton, Massachusetts

Home Health RN Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,500–$2,630
• Healthcare Setting: Certified home health care
• Location: Newton, Massachusetts, with travel to assigned patient cases
• Service Area: Beverly, Marblehead, Salem, and Swampscott
• Start Date: November 1, 2026, based on credentialing clearance
• Contract Duration: 13-week travel nursing contract
• Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week
• Weekend Rotation: Approximately once every six weeks

Home Health Registered Nurse Requirements

• Valid Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts
• At least 1 year of experience in certified home health care
• At least 1 year of case management experience in a certified home health agency
• Home Health RN certification or relevant home health credentials
• Ability to travel to assigned patient cases throughout the service area
• Strong clinical judgment, organization, communication, and electronic documentation skills
• Current resume, professional references, and required license verification documentation
• Ability to complete required credentialing and onboarding processes before the assignment begins

Home Health RN Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions and determine appropriate nursing interventions in the home setting
• Develop, implement, and update individualized patient care plans
• Provide skilled nursing care and ongoing monitoring based on patient needs
• Complete admission processes and comprehensive evaluations for new patients
• Perform case management activities and coordinate care with patients, families, providers, and interdisciplinary team members
• Educate patients and caregivers about medications, disease management, treatment plans, and strategies for promoting independence
• Maintain thorough, timely electronic documentation in accordance with professional and organizational standards
• Communicate changes in patient condition and collaborate with the care team to support safe, effective outcomes
• Deliver compassionate care while upholding community health nursing standards and patient-centered practices
