Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Transplant Coordinator to join our Outpatient Post-Transplant Kidney Clinic. This role is vital in managing the care of patients post-kidney transplant, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and support throughout their recovery process.

Responsibilities

  • Triage post-transplant patient calls.
  • Order and review lab results, escalating issues as necessary.
  • Schedule testing including transplant biopsy and diagnostic exams.
  • Enter electronic prescriptions and assist with clinic preparation.
  • Conduct patient assessments as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • BLS certification is required.
  • Excellent multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
  • Strong critical thinking abilities.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Experience in patient triage and managing high call volumes is preferred.
