Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular Care Unit (IMC) position requiring a CO or compact RN license and at least one year of specialty experience.

Details

• Work in the Cardiovascular Care Unit (IMC) of a hospital environment
• Day shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours weekly)
• Uses Epic for charting and documentation
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift

Requirements

• Active RN license (CO or compact) required, with no pending license accepted
• Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• TNCC certification preferred
• ASN required; BSN preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in the specialty being applied for
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Certifications must not expire prior to the assignment start date
• Date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted nursing practice standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care while monitoring therapy and treatment plans
• Provide health teaching, counseling, and supportive/restorative care to patients
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Background check and drug screening required, with results typically taking at least 2 weeks
• Candidates must report for drug screening within 24 hours of assignment commitment
• Returning employees who were permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before becoming eligible for a travel assignment
