Tell us about the unit(s): Level 4 designated maternal center caring for the most complex patients at any gestation

• Number of Beds 22 beds (16 labor beds)
• Number of Staff approx. 100 staff with RNs and support staff
• Type of staff:
  • Day Shift 1 charge, minimum of 2 surg techs, 1 unit clerk, staff RNs to census, typically 10 staff during week and 7 during weekends
  • Night Shift 1 charge, minimum of 2 surg techs, 1 unit clerk, staffs to census, typically 9 staff during the week and 7 during the weekends
• Patient Ratios 1:2, 1:1
• Type of equipment
• EMR CPN and Meditech
• Permanent Positions on Unit Avaliable? (Y/N) Yes nights and weekend plan

Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)

Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

• Experience with high risk maternal patients
• Circulating Operating room and triage

Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.

• Greater than 5 years' experience

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

• Vaginal and Cesarean section deliveries, tubal ligations, cerclage placement and removal, D&C
• C-hyst, PASD cases
