This role requires a thorough understanding of maternal-fetal health and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, providing comprehensive nursing care during both routine and critical situations. Key Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Maternal Fetal Medicine Unit. Monitor and assess the health status of pregnant patients and their fetuses. Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans. Educate patients and families on maternal and fetal health topics. Utilize advanced nursing skills to manage complications that may arise during pregnancy. Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the medical record. Attend to emotional and psychological needs of patients and their families. Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. A minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience in maternal-fetal medicine or a related specialty. Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work under pressure. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Current BLS and ACLS certifications required. Work Schedule This position involves working night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, providing care during crucial hours for patients in need.
