Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Long Term Care / Skilled Nursing – Lewiston, ME 04240

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Lewiston, Maine

Schedule: Night shift (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), 13-week assignment with 2 positions available. Flexibility required for 24/7 coverage and floating to other units as needed.

Highlights:

• Work in specialized units including a 31-bed Alzheimer's/dementia care unit, a 42-bed transitional rehabilitation unit, and a 42-bed long-term care unit
• Provide skilled nursing services including IV therapy, wound care, and geriatric assessment and management
• Collaborate with residents and interdisciplinary care teams to create safe, therapeutic, home-like environments
• Utilize specialized communication techniques for residents with cognitive impairments and complex behavioral needs
• Support patients recovering from fractures, joint replacements, stroke, and other short-term rehabilitation needs

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Nursing required
• Valid Maine RN license or compact state RN license
• 1-3 years of previous RN experience preferred
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Medical terminology knowledge preferred
• Must reside outside of a 50-mile radius from the facility
• Clean licensure record required
