Job Description: - **Previous Travel Experience Required** - **Alaska RN License in Hand is a Must** - **Start Date:** ASAP - **Shift Options:** - 4x12 Variable (or 3x12 Variable - your choice!) - **Duration:** - Traveler's Choice for 26 or 13 week assignment - **Patient Ratios:** 1:20 - **Experience Needed:** Minimum of 1 year in LTC - **First Timers Accepted:** No - **Certifications Required:** - BLS Certification - Alaska Food Worker Certification (provided on-site during orientation for $10 fee) - **Key Skills:** - Long Term Care Experience - **On-Call Requirement:** No - **Floating Within Scope:** Yes, to meet facility needs - **Block Schedule:** No - **Local Candidates:** Not accepted - must reside at least 50 miles away from facility - **Pending Licenses:** Not accepted - **RTO Restrictions:** - No more than 2 weeks RTO for a 26-week contract - Must be available to work at least 2 of the 3 major winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s) - RTO must be submitted with application; late requests not considered - **Guaranteed Hours:** - 60 Hours per 2 weeks - Note: Traveler can be called off for 1, 12-hour shift per 2 weeks - **Facility Information:** - Type: Long Term Care Facility - Total Staffed Beds: 40 - Scrub Color: Any - Charting System: ECS - Parking: Free! - **Vehicle Information:** - Facility will provide a vehicle during the assignment. - Vehicle available for use no earlier than 72 hours before start and must be returned during time off. - Only traveler authorized to operate the vehicle. - Must provide driver's license and proof of insurance to operate.
