Job Requirements

• Active RN license in Alabama or compact state eligibility
• At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience required
• BLS certification required
• Cerner experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment in a busy inpatient acute care setting
• Ability to work assigned day shifts and every other weekend

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to Medical-Surgical patients
• Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in status
• Administer medications and complete treatments in accordance with care plans
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately and timely
• Support patient education, discharge planning, and continuity of care
• Maintain professional standards, infection control practices, and high-quality bedside nursing care
