Job Requirements

• Active Compact RN license or Alabama RN license
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of Registered Nurse experience required
• Previous Medical-Surgical nursing or acute care experience preferred
• Cerner experience preferred
• Travelers must live more than 50 miles from the facility
• Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend
• Strong communication, adaptability, clinical judgment, and patient care skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate care to adult medical-surgical patients
• Monitor patient conditions, assess changes, and communicate concerns promptly
• Administer medications and complete treatments according to the plan of care
• Document accurately in the electronic medical record and maintain quality clinical records
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support positive outcomes
• Respond effectively to patient needs in a busy Med/Surg environment
• Support a high standard of patient safety, professionalism, and teamwork
