Registered Nurse (RN) - Med/Surg

As a travel Registered Nurse in a 25-bed independent critical access hospital, you'll have the chance to provide care to a diverse adult patient population, as well as occasional pediatric patients.

Position Highlights

• Flexible day/night rotation
• 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Opportunity to serve as Charge RN as needed
• Experience in a Critical Access Hospital setting
• Broad scope of practice including medical, surgical, observation, swing bed, outpatient, and occasional pediatric care
• Collaborative and supportive nursing team environment

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse, you will coordinate and deliver exceptional patient care while collaborating with a dedicated interdisciplinary team. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care using the Nursing Process
• Meeting the physiological, psychosocial, spiritual, and developmental needs of patients across the lifespan
• Working closely with providers, nursing leadership, and support staff to ensure safe, compassionate, and high-quality care

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of recent acute care RN experience required
• Charge RN experience preferred
• Current Vermont RN license or Compact Multi-State RN License
• BLS (American Heart Association) certification required
• ACLS (American Heart Association) certification required
• Meditech experience preferred
