Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Oncology travel assignment in Billings, MT, requiring at least 1 year of oncology experience and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Medical Oncology unit within a regional hospital setting
- Day shift, 12-hour shifts (36 hours/week, 3 days/week)
- Epic EMR used for charting
- Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
- On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required
Requirements
- Active MT or Compact RN license required (no pending licenses)
- ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
- Current BLS certification (AHA) required; must not expire prior to assignment start
- ACLS, NRP, and/or PALS certifications as appropriate for the unit (AHA only); must not expire prior to assignment start
- Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg Oncology RN experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care including health teaching, counseling, and treatment plan monitoring
- Executes delegated medical functions and refers patients as needed for further evaluation or treatment
- Documents patient care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
- 2 professional references required for consideration
