Contract: 16 Weeks
Shift: Nights | 3x12s (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)

MUST-HAVE REQUIREMENTS

✅ 2+ years of recent Med Surg/Telemetry experience
✅ Current acute care experience within the last 12 months (Hard Stop)
✅ Epic experience required
✅ BLS required
✅ Strong telemetry and dysrhythmia interpretation skills

Preferred

• Oncology experience (preferred, not required)
• Previous travel experience
• Teaching hospital experience

Key Skills

• Telemetry monitoring
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• IV starts and phlebotomy
• PICC and central line management
• Blood product administration
• Tracheostomy care
• Accessing ports
• CPAP/BiPAP management

Unit Highlights

• 36-bed Medical Oncology Unit
• Adult and Geriatric population
• Common diagnoses include Breast, Lung, Colon, Pancreatic, Prostate, and Esophageal Cancers
• Chemotherapy-related cardiac monitoring
• Float to other Med Surg Oncology units as needed
• Strong focus on infection prevention and patient safety

Ideal Candidate

Med Surg/Telemetry RN with recent acute care experience, strong telemetry skills, Epic proficiency, and an interest in caring for oncology patients in a large academic medical center.
