• Hours: 36 hours per week guaranteed
• Shift Pattern: Every other weekend and every other holiday
• Contract Length: 26 weeks
• Start Date: 09/07/2026
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,930 - $2,030
• Location: Des Moines, Iowa

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
• Strong assessment skills, critical thinking, and telemetry interpretation abilities
• Ability to work night shift nursing schedules and rotate every other weekend/holiday as needed
• Professional, dependable, and team-oriented approach to patient care

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Complete thorough patient assessments and document findings accurately in the medical record
• Administer medications and treatments according to the plan of care
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to support positive patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on care plans, recovery, and discharge instructions
• Maintain a clean, organized, and patient-focused clinical environment
