Travel RN NICU

A leading regional healthcare provider known for patient-centric care is seeking Travel NICU RNs in Providence. You will care for premature and critically ill newborns in a high-acuity neonatal unit. This 13-week assignment suits an experienced NICU nurse who works well under pressure.

• Contract assignment, 3 months with possible extension
• Work setting: onsite
• Openings: 3
• Anticipated start: within the next two to three weeks
• Candidates must live 60 or more miles from the facility

• Provide direct care for premature and critically ill newborns
• Monitor ventilated infants, lines and vital signs closely
• Administer medications, TPN and blood products per protocol
• Respond to deliveries and neonatal emergencies as needed
• Support and educate parents throughout the NICU stay
• Document care accurately in the EHR

• Active RN license (Rhode Island or compact)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Level III or IV NICU experience
• Current BLS and NRP certification
• Experience caring for ventilated neonates
• Must reside 60 or more miles from the facility (travel requirement)

• RNC-NIC or CCRN (Neonatal) certification
• S.T.A.B.L.E. certification
• Epic experience
• Travel or contract assignment experience at multiple facilities
• Strong references from recent clinical managers
• Flexibility to work varied shifts when the unit needs support

• Pay: $66.79 to $68.79 per hour
