**Join Our Dynamic PACU Team in Beautiful New Mexico!** **Job Description:** - **Position:** Acute Travel RN - PACU - **Shift:** Days (6:30A - 3:30P) with on-call coverage on nights and weekends - **Location:** Los Alamos Medical Center - **Weekly Guaranteed Hours:** Approximately 40 hours **Essential Functions:** - **Responsible for:** - Caring for patients in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) and Preoperative areas - Managing patient recovery and monitoring vital signs - Ensuring comfort and safety of patients post-surgery - **Required Experience:** - Minimum of 2 years of PACU experience - Experience in Preoperative care preferred - **Certifications Needed:** - BLS - ACLS - PALS - **Patient Population:** - Primarily adult patients - Common procedures include appendectomies and gallbladders - Opportunities to engage with ENT cases once a month - **Work Environment:** - 3-bed PACU unit with patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2 - Use of CQI and Medhost for electronic health records - **Eligibility Requirements:** - Must be fingerprinted as per New Mexico state regulations - Ability to start within 7-10 days of offer acceptance - **Culture & Team:** - Join a dedicated group of healthcare professionals - Work under the guidance of Supervisor James Maxey **Join us in making a difference in patients' lives while enjoying the stunning landscapes of Northern New Mexico!** **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
