We're hiring experienced Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurses for the Resource Float Pool. If you thrive in fast-paced, high-acuity environments and have Level I Trauma experience, this is an outstanding opportunity.
Position: Travel RN – PCU Float Pool
Location: Tucson, AZ
Contract: 13 Weeks (08/10/2026 – 11/07/2026)
Schedule: 36 Hours/Week
Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Level I Trauma Center
Float Pool Position
You'll care for patients across:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
Intermediate Care (IMC)
Medical-Surgical
Observation Units
Occasionally ED hold or PACU patients awaiting inpatient beds
Active Arizona RN License (or compact license if applicable)
Recent PCU experience in a large acute care hospital
Level I Trauma experience (Required)
Comfortable floating across multiple units and campuses
BLS and ACLS (per facility requirements)
Care for high-acuity adult medical and surgical patients.
Manage cardiac monitoring, drips, and complex patient conditions.
Float where patient care needs are greatest while maintaining exceptional clinical standards.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across both campuses.
Work at one of Arizona's premier academic medical centers.
Gain experience across multiple specialty units.
