Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Perioperative Circulator role in an Adult Surgery OR unit, requiring at least one year of acute OR experience and an active OK or compact RN license.

Details

• Hospital-based Adult Surgery operating room setting
• Day shift, 8 hours per day, 5 days per week (40 hours/week)
• Schedule includes Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with shifts from 0630–1900
• Call and weekend availability required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact (eNLC) license required
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute operating room environment required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program required; BSN preferred
• Strong knowledge of AORN Standards
• CNOR certification preferred
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Plans, coordinates, delivers, and evaluates nursing care for patients undergoing operative or other invasive procedures
• Individualizes patient care based on health status, age, and the specific surgery or procedure being performed
• Responsible for ongoing evaluation and documentation of all care components within the perioperative environment
• Compliance requirements are strictly enforced — candidates should be prepared to begin onboarding immediately upon accepting an offer
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility may return after a 6-month separation period, provided they have not exceeded 26 cumulative weeks
