Job Title: Travel RN - Progressive Critical Care
Location: Albany, NY
Duration: 8 Weeks (08/24/2026 - 10/12/2026)
Shift: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM | 11.5 hours per day | 34.5 Hours/week
Pay range - $65/hr. - $70/hr. ($2200/week - $2400/week)

Notes:

• Epic experience REQUIRED.
• Navy blue scrubs required.
• The nurses in our Progressive Critical Care Unit care for some of the most medically delicate and surgically complex patients in our region.
• Competency test required within 24 hours of submission, sent via candidate's email. Please ensure an up-to-date email is provided at the time of submission.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Two (2) years of experience.
• Progressive Critical Care Unit (PCU) experience.
• Competent in the care of medical and surgical populations.
• Advanced hemodynamics including pressor usage per titration protocols.
• Antihypertensive drips.
• Sedative and Narcan drips.
• Arterial line (A-line).
• Central Venous Pressure (CVP).
• External Ventricular Drain (EVD).
• Traction.
• Infection prevention protocols.
• High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC).
• BiPap/Cpap.
• Oxypendent.
• Experience caring for patients with respiratory failure, sepsis, closed head injuries, multi-system organ dysfunction, endocrine disorders, complex trauma, and surgical complications.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Large-scale adult PCU experience.
• Community hospital ICU experience.

Education:

• BSN or ASN in Nursing .

Required Certifications & Licensure:

• NY RN License
• AHA BLS
• AHA ACLS.

Additional Information:

• Average patient load is 3 high-acuity patients.
