RN Supervisor – Long-Term Care
Location: Huntington Living Center, Waterloo, NY 13165
Engagement: 5-Month Contract-to-Permanent
Shift: Full-Time Evenings | 3:00 PM–11:30 PM | 5×8s
Schedule: Every Other Weekend (EOW) & Holidays as Needed
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced RN Supervisor to oversee nursing operations and provide clinical leadership across multiple LTC units during the evening shift. The RN Supervisor will ensure quality resident care, supervise nursing staff, address clinical/operational concerns, and support compliance with facility and NYSDOH requirements.
Requirements
Current NYS RN License
Minimum 1 year of Long-Term Care experience
Prior RN Supervisor/Clinical Lead experience overseeing multiple units
Charge Nurse-only experience does not qualify
BLS – AHA or RQI required
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
BSN preferred
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Familiarity with NYSDOH regulations
CPI certification required within 90 days of hire
Contract: 5 months with potential transition to permanent employment based on performance and facility needs.
