Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele Float Pool position requiring 2+ years of cardiac/telemetry experience and previous travel experience.

Details

• Float Pool position within a 495-bed acute care hospital, floating to other units required
• Level II Trauma Center with acute care patient population
• Patient ratio averages 1:7
• Night shift, 3x12's schedule (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM)
• Every other weekend and holiday required
• No on-call requirements
• Uses EPIC EMR - required
• 13-26 week contract with January start dates acceptable
• No block scheduling available

Requirements

• Active RN license - VA State License or Compact required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA only)
• 2+ years of Med Surg/Telemetry experience required
• Cardiac experience required
• Previous travel experience required

Additional Information

• Float to other units within the facility as needed
• Navy blue scrubs required per facility dress code
• May request one holiday off, with no more than two days considered for holiday RTO
• Candidates must be well qualified with all required experience
• Facility has earned an 'A' grade in Patient Safety for 9 consecutive years
• Will consider candidates within a 50 mile radius instead of standard 65 mile radius rule
