Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RRT with Level 3 NICU expertise for a 13-week travel assignment covering both NICU and adult critical care.

Details

• 12-hour day shifts, 3x12s schedule
• 36 hours per week
• Float required between adult critical care and neonatal critical care units
• May require on-call scheduling

Requirements

• RRT credentials required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required (AHA only)
• ABG license required, if applicable
• Minimum 3 years of Level 3 NICU experience required
• Minimum 2 years of US hospital experience in relevant specialty required
• NICU transport experience required
• Competency required in high frequency ventilation, nitric oxide, heliox, neonatal intubation, neonatal ventilator management, bubble CPAP, heated high flow therapy for neonates, neonatal arterial puncture, and delivery attendance
• Active license required, no pending licenses accepted
• Two supervisor or manager references required, verifying experience within the previous 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer

Additional Information

• Administer respiratory care under physician prescription, including diagnostic evaluation, treatment, education, and rehabilitation for patients with cardiopulmonary conditions
• Apply and monitor medical gases, environmental control systems, mechanical ventilatory support, artificial airway care, bronchopulmonary hygiene, and related pharmacological agents
• Provide cardiopulmonary rehab and hemodynamic cardiovascular support across care sites
• Candidates must live 100+ miles from the facility to be eligible
