Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team. The RRT will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive respiratory care to patients across the facility, including acute care pediatrics, NICU/PICU, and adult acute and critical care.

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage respiratory therapy procedures and care to patients of varying ages.
• Monitor and assess patient respiratory status and interventions.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Utilize advanced respiratory equipment including Drager V500 and VN500, Hamilton T1 and C1, and others.
• Participate in the education of patients and their families regarding respiratory health.
• Float to other units as required to ensure patient care continuity.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an RRT in a tertiary, teaching hospital setting.
• Current RRT license required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred, and NRP for NICU preferred.
• Experience in pediatrics and critical care is highly desirable.
