Key Qualifications:

  • Active Illinois SLP license (send a screenshot with your application)
  • PEL (Professional Educator License) required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous school-based experience strongly preferred
  • Must be able to work on-site (no teletherapy/VOCO opportunities)
  • High school caseload experience is a plus

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech/language therapy and assessment for high school students
  • Manage a caseload (full-time max 60, anticipate starting around 30)
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff and families to optimize student progress
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to individualized plans
