About M1 Global

Since 1994, M1 Global has grown from a local security provider to the trusted security partner of Fortune 500 companies worldwide. We build security programs for complex enterprise environments - from loading docks to data centers, headquarters to event venues - powered by Aurix, our proprietary automation platform that pairs skilled specialists with proven processes for industry-leading prevention, detection and reporting. Wherever and however our clients operate, we integrate.

Protecting the companies that power the world.

The Role

You own the proactive work a reactive watch floor never gets to. Traveler risk, pre-trip briefings, persons-of-interest case work and support to behavioral threat assessment all need sustained attention, and a queue will always be serviced first.

This is a day post - ten hours a day, five days a week, aligned to the client's business hours. Travel events outside those hours are handled by the watch floor and returned to you for case ownership, so the record stays in one place and an assessment does not restart every time it is touched.

You work closely with the client's executive protection and threat management stakeholders. What you produce goes to people making decisions about where colleagues travel and who they meet.

Key Responsibilities

Travel Security

  • Produce pre-trip briefings and destination risk assessments to published turnaround targets.
  • Maintain traveler awareness for the active population, and reconcile the traveler record so the picture of who is where is accurate rather than approximate.
  • Coordinate with the international assistance provider on medical, security and evacuation matters, and keep the client informed throughout.
  • Support duty-of-care practice consistent with ISO 31030.

Protective Intelligence Case Work

  • Open, develop and maintain persons-of-interest cases with a full audit trail.
  • Conduct research and triage on subjects of concern and produce assessments the client's threat management stakeholders can act on.
  • Run watchlist and named-subject monitoring over time rather than as a one-off lookup.
  • Support behavioral threat assessment practice and know the limits of your own role in it.

Products and Stakeholder Support

  • Write for executives. Bottom line up front, confidence stated, information gaps named.
  • Support executive protection advance work and travel packages with sourced, current assessments.
  • Answer requests for information inside agreed turnaround times and say so early when one cannot be met.

Case Record

  • Keep the case record complete enough that an assessment survives your absence.
  • Document sourcing, actions taken, actions requested of the client, and stated information gaps.
  • Contribute to procedures and templates for travel and protective intelligence work.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: Four or more years in an analytical role, including demonstrable travel risk management or protective intelligence case work.
  • Case discipline: Experience owning cases over time in a case management platform, with an audit trail that holds up on later review.
  • Products: Pre-trip briefing and destination assessment production for an executive audience. A written product sample is required at interview.
  • Threat assessment: Working knowledge of behavioral threat assessment fundamentals.
  • Duty of care: Familiarity with ISO 31030 and with international assistance provider coordination.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related analytical discipline - or equivalent military or government intelligence experience.
  • Eligibility: Authorized to work in the United States. Able to pass background, drug and client-required security screening.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications: ATAP Certified Threat Manager, or eligibility for the pathway. IALEIA Criminal Intelligence Certified Analyst (CICA).
  • Background: Travel risk management at a global enterprise, including live disruption or evacuation events.
  • Executive support: Prior support to an executive protection program.
  • Specialization: Regional expertise or professional working proficiency in a second language.
