• Setting: Travel nursing assignment, on-site

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Night shift, 12 hours (19:00 - 07:00)
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours
• Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend
• Orientation: 8 hours
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,070 - $2,180

Registered Nurse Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in Pennsylvania or a Compact state at the time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• TNCC preferred
• Experience with EPIC charting preferred
• Ability to care for high-acuity SICU and critical care patients, including trauma and post-surgical cases
• Willingness to float as needed based on unit needs
• Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and teamwork skills
• Compliance items completed on time, including required references and state-mandated documentation

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate, and high-quality care to critically ill surgical patients in a Surgical Intensive Care Unit
• Monitor and manage complex conditions related to neurosurgery, vascular surgery, thoracic surgery, orthopedic interventions, transplants, and trauma
• Provide ICU nursing care for patients requiring mechanical ventilation, tracheostomy management, CRRT, arterial lines, chest tubes, and central lines
• Assess, plan, and implement individualized patient care in a high-acuity critical care environment
• Administer medications, titrate vasoactive and cardiac drips, and monitor patient response
• Use critical thinking to recognize changes in condition and respond quickly and effectively
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, PT, radiology, pharmacy, and other support services
• Accurately document care and patient status in EPIC
• Support unit flow and contribute to a positive, team-oriented patient care environment
