Medlivo is seeking a travel nurse RN Skilled Nursing for a travel nursing job in Glendale, California.
Minimum 2+ years recent RN experience in Skilled Nursing/Subacute required / CERTIFICATIONS – BLS (AHA) required / LICENSE – Active RN License required / Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, 36 hrs/week, 8-week contract, every other weekend, first to float / Setting: Skilled Nursing Unit (LTC/SNF) within an Acute Care Hospital / EMR: Cerner / Skills: Medication administration, wound care, tracheostomy care, IV therapy, oxygen therapy, care of dementia and Alzheimer's patients, interdisciplinary collaboration, and skilled nursing care required / Experience: Prior SNF or Subacute experience required / Unit Details: Semi-private skilled nursing unit with 5:1 RN ratio / Common Patient Population: Pulmonary patients requiring oxygen therapy, Alzheimer's disease, dementia, and other skilled nursing residents / Respiratory Support: RT available for stable ventilators, tracheostomy care, oxygen therapy, CPAP, and BiPAP / Drips: No titratable drips / Monitoring: No telemetry / Interdisciplinary Team: PT, OT, SLP, Pulmonary/Cardiac Rehab, Case Management, Social Work, and Dietitians available / Weekend Requirement: Yes / Holiday Requirement: Yes / Call Requirement: None / Floating: May float to Acute Rehab / Orientation: Unit-specific orientation provided / Scrubs: Navy Blue / Additional: No self-scheduling or block scheduling. RNs are expected to participate in interdisciplinary team conferences. Facility utilizes both N95 respirators and PAPR as indicated.
