Requirements

• Active Alaska (AK) License required
• Mental health and substance abuse experience
• Experience providing comprehensive behavioral health assessments
• Crisis intervention experience
• Individual, group, and family counseling/therapy experience
• Outpatient and aftercare experience

Key Responsibilities

• Provide mental health and substance abuse services
• Conduct assessments and crisis interventions
• Manage a caseload of behavioral health clients
• Provide individual, group, and family counseling
• Complete treatment documentation and reports
• Participate in treatment team meetings and case conferences
• Coordinate care with community agencies and healthcare staff
• Advocate for clients and coordinate treatment activities
