Description

American Traveler is hiring a Sonographer for overnight weekend shifts, performing general, OBGYN, vascular, and NICU/OR ultrasound studies.

Details

  • Hospital-based ultrasound department position
  • 13-week assignment
  • Schedule includes Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
  • General cases include abdomen, OBGYN, small parts, abdominal vasculature, lower extremity DVT, and follicular studies
  • NICU and OR experience required
  • Equipment used includes GE Logiq E10 and E9, and Samsung R20s
  • Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

  • Current BLS certification (AHA preferred; specific hospitals require AHA only)
  • License required if applicable
  • Active MA license required with no pending or conditional licenses accepted
  • Primary source verification of license/certification required within 30 days of start and updated upon expiration

Additional Information

  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound studies across abdominal, OBGYN, vascular, and NICU/OR settings
  • Flu vaccine required during flu season with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
  • RTO must be disclosed at time of consideration
  • Local candidates within 60 miles of Boston may be considered at a reduced rate
  • Parking at Boston locations is not validated; public transportation or paid parking required
