Responsibilities
- Perform pediatric cardiovascular ultrasound exams, including transthoracic echocardiography, in accordance with protocols and pediatric patient needs.
- Acquire and optimize high-quality images of cardiac structures in pediatric patients, ensuring appropriate measurements and documentation.
- Operate ultrasound equipment, maintain patient safety and comfort, and adhere to sterile technique and infection control standards.
- Prepare preliminary findings, document results in the medical record, and communicate with the pediatric cardiology team as appropriate.
- Provide on-call coverage as required and participate in teamwork with technologists, nurses, and physicians to support patient care.

Requirements
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiovascular Sonographer (RDCS) or CCI-RCS certification (required)
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or CCI-RVS certification (required)
- ARDMS-PE or CCI RCCS certification (required)
- Pediatric Echocardiography (PE) credential (required)
- ECHO experience in pediatric cardiovascular imaging (required)
- Fetal Echocardiography (FE) certification preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor per AH policy (required)
