Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations across abdominal, OB/GYN (including fetal anatomy survey), vascular/duplex, pediatric, breast, thyroid, and transvaginal exams, with Doppler as appropriate.
- Conduct ultrasound-guided procedures and biopsies, documenting findings accurately in the patient record.
- Operate and optimize ultrasound equipment, maintain image quality, and ensure patient safety and comfort during examinations.
- Communicate findings clearly to interpreting physicians and clinical teams; participate in appropriate interdepartmental collaboration.
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and adhere to infection control and sterile technique standards.
- May be required to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate facilities; participate in call and holiday coverage as scheduled.

Requirements
- Active California license in ultrasound (must be in hand at submission)
- ARDMS certification; BLS certification (copies required with submission)
- Minimum 3 years of ultrasound experience
- Epic charting experience preferred (Epic experience noted as preferred/required)
- Willingness to float within the hospital or affiliate facilities
- Availability for call: couple nights per week and up to 2 weekend calls per schedule; holiday coverage as noted
- COVID-19 vaccine not required; flu vaccine status unknown
- Orientation and required training modules: 40 hours of orientation; pre-start and annual modules (approximately 16 hours non-billable; >20 hours requires approval)
