Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound examinations, including vascular studies, OB (second and third trimester) scans, and breast ultrasound as required.
- Prepare patients and equipment, obtain clinical history, and document findings in the radiology information system.
- Ensure image quality, apply appropriate scanning protocols, and assist with patient positioning and comfort.
- Communicate results and any immediate concerns to the supervising physician or radiologist per department guidelines.
- Maintain equipment and adhere to safety, infection control, and quality assurance standards.
- Maintain accurate patient records and support workflow needs in a rotating schedule.
Requirements
- Vascular registration is required.
- Proficiency in second and third trimester obstetric ultrasound.
- Proficiency in breast ultrasound.
- Ability to perform 9–10 hour shifts across days and evenings.
- Ability to work in an inpatient care environment within a travel assignment.
