**Exciting Opportunity for a Registered Nurse in a Level 2 Special Care Nursery** **Job Description:** - Join a dynamic team of healthcare professionals dedicated to providing exceptional patient care! - Evaluate patients and assist physicians with comprehensive patient care strategies. - Plan, implement, and document nursing care tailored to patients’ unique needs. - Identify patient needs and establish care priorities through thorough assessments, planning, intervention, and evaluation. - Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized care plans based on initial and ongoing assessments. - Initiate assessments to address patient problems or needs while considering the physician’s medical diagnosis. - Perform therapeutic nursing interventions that significantly improve patient outcomes. - Effectively manage the care of patients in a nurturing and supportive environment. - Document all care in accordance with established standards, taking into account patient acuity and clinical priorities. - Advocate for evidence-based practices to enhance patient care standards and innovate care delivery methods. - Provide patient-centric care that aligns with a professional nursing practice model. - Embrace additional responsibilities and duties as assigned. **Schedule:** - Shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM - Every other weekend as needed - No on-call responsibilities - Work 3 x 12-hour shifts **Qualifications:** - Minimum 3+ years of experience in Mother-Baby care required - Must possess hands-on experience in caring for newborns - At least one year of experience in a Level 2 Special Care Nursery (SCN) - No floating, unless caring for babies on postpartum (PP) - Level 2 SCN experience for newborns at 32 weeks and above **Education:** - Required: Associate's Degree in Nursing (ASN) - Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) **Certifications & Licensure:** - Required: - Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA - Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - New Jersey State Professional Registered Nurse License or Multi-State Compact License **Languages:** - Proficient in English: reading, writing, and speaking **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
