Travel Special Education Teacher (Sped Teacher) - $2,250 per week in Salem, OR

Elementary School Special Education Teacher needed for SY 26-27. This is a k-2 developmental classroom and you'll have approximately 16 students. *You'll work with the children on basic skills, functional routines; some are non-verbal *Full time, 37.5 hours per week *Pay rates based on experience, ranging $58-62/hour, W-2 *5 instructional assistants in classroom

To qualify for roles in teaching, we re looking for previous experience in a special education setting, whether it s resource or self-contained classrooms, 1:1 scenarios or situations where you re with children with externalizing behaviors. We re also looking for experience working with IEPs (individualized education plans), lesson planning, working collaboratively with faculty and parents and a strong desire to connect with your students.

Licensing requirements:

*A bachelor's degree in education with a focus on special education

*Completion of approved preparation program

*Teaching license with special education endorsement from the Oreggon Teacher Standards and Practices Commission (TSPC)
