Must-Have: Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program required. Associates degree in Radiology Technology required.
Description:
Assists with performing sterile diagnostic and interventional care to patients of various ages.
Demonstrates basic competency in specialized procedures and equipment.
Assists with Cardiac Cath and Interventional Procedures, including PTCA, PCI, Rotablator, and CSI.
Assists with Balloon Pump and Impella insertion, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Assists with Intravascular Ultrasound.
Assists with Fractional flow reserve and Instantaneous wave-free ratio.
Assists with various Vascular Procedures, including IVC filters and peripheral runoffs.
Assists with maintaining arterial and venous sheaths.
Assists with the insertion of a temporary pacemaker.
Assists in the care of critically ill patients.
Assists with Arterial and Venous closure devices, including Mynx and Angioseal.
Assists with Spectranetics laser procedures.
Assists with Thermodilution and Invasive Monitoring of hemodynamics.
Assists with Structural heart procedures, including TAVR and Watchman.
Assists with Pacemaker and ICD placement.
Assists with Loop Recorder insertion and removal.
Assists with Radiofrequency and Cryoablations.
Assists with Electrophysiology procedures.
Assists with Synchronized Cardioversion and Defibrillation.
Maintains sterile technique and ensures proper radiological positioning.
Maintains contrast volume used and reports to the physician as indicated.
Sets up, uses, and maintains contrast delivery methods.
Assists in troubleshooting X-Ray and other Cath Lab Equipment.
Gathers data for PCI registry.
Assists with postmortem care as required.
Supports patient transport and EMR monitoring systems.
Continuously assesses hemodynamic stability using invasive and non-invasive measures.
Documents all values, procedural details, and clinical responses accurately.
Participates in call coverage as required.
