**Join Our Dynamic NICU Speech Language Pathology Team!** **Job Description:** - **Unit Information:** - Location: Houston, Texas - Floor: 3 - Number of Beds: 381 - Staff: - Day Shift – 1 FTE Speech Therapist - 1 PRN Speech Therapist (one day a week) - Patient Ratios: caseload dependent - Equipment: Advanced speech therapy tools - EMR: Meditech Magic/Meditech Expanse - **Why You'll Love This Role:** - Collaborate with a passionate team in the NICU providing top-tier care to our smallest patients. - Conduct Modified Barium Swallow Studies and evaluate speech/language and swallowing abilities of infants. - Develop evidence-based treatment plans that truly make a difference in patient’s lives. - **What We're Looking For:** - **Must-Have Skills:** - Neonatal Experience - Proficiency in Modified Barium Swallow Study - **Preferred Skills:** - Pediatric Experience - Adult Experience - **Responsibilities Include:** - Evaluate patients with functional limitations or disabilities due to a variety of causes. - Synthesize data to establish comprehensive, age-appropriate care plans. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes. - Complete additional duties as assigned. - **Candidate Persona:** - You are a proactive, self-motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. - You take initiative and consistently demonstrate high-quality, timely care for your patients. - **Required Certifications:** - Current Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA - Current Texas State License in Speech-Language Pathology - **Dress Code:** - Scrub Color/Attire: Dark Blue - Unit Guidelines: Bare below the elbows in the NICU - **Commitment:** - Schedule: M-F, 8a-5p - Duration: 13 weeks - No weekends or on-call requirements **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
