Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders in a skilled nursing facility setting
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluation findings
  • Monitor and document patient progress toward established therapy goals
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team members to coordinate patient care
  • Educate patients and their families on therapeutic strategies and home exercise programs
Required Qualifications
  • Master's degree or doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current and valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
  • Experience working in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Prior experience with dysphagia evaluation and treatment, including modified barium swallow studies
  • Familiarity with Medicare documentation requirements in a SNF environment
