Key Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient rehabilitation speech-language pathology services to a diverse patient population including geriatric, adult, and pediatric patients (ages 13 and older)
• Evaluate and treat patients with neurological, orthopedic, debility, and cardiac diagnoses, including those recovering from strokes, brain or spinal cord injuries, and complex conditions
• Utilize advanced therapy equipment including EKSO, InMotion UE Robotic, and body weight support systems
• Document patient care accurately using UDS and Epic electronic health record systems
• Maintain a patient caseload ratio of approximately 7:1 within a 60-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of rehabilitation professionals to promote functional recovery and quality of life

Required Qualifications

• Active and valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
• Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF) or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience required
• Acute care experience strongly preferred in addition to IRF/SNF background

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience treating neurological, orthopedic, debility, and cardiac patient populations
• Familiarity with advanced rehabilitation technology and robotic therapy equipment
• Proficiency with Epic and UDS electronic health record platforms
• Strong teamwork, communication, work ethic, and professional accountability
