Description

American Traveler seeks an Inpatient Speech-Language Pathologist with an active Illinois license and 2+ years of experience to provide dysphagia management and swallow studies in a hospital setting.

Details

• Inpatient setting located within the main hospital
• Performs video swallow studies, bedside swallow evaluations, and dysphagia management
• 10-hour day shifts, 4 shifts per week
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• Uses Cerner EMR for documentation

Requirements

• Active Illinois SLP license required, if applicable
• 2+ years of recent experience in the specialty required
• 2 years of relevant setting experience required
• AHA certifications only, as required for the position
• Cerner EMR experience strongly preferred
• 2 professional references from similar experience (1-2 years)

Additional Information

• Provides comprehensive dysphagia management including bedside and instrumental swallow evaluations
• May float within scope to similar units as needed
• Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility with no exceptions
