Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and treatment objectives.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Active Florida Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license.
• Minimum of 3 years of SLP experience required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Previous experience in a long-term acute care setting is preferred.
