Travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Outpatient Pediatrics / Acute Care

Greenfield, Ohio

We are seeking a Travel Speech-Language Pathologist for a 13-week contract in Greenfield, Ohio. This position offers a primarily outpatient pediatric caseload with some inpatient adult coverage, making it a great opportunity for an experienced SLP who enjoys clinical variety.

The anticipated caseload is approximately 80% outpatient pediatrics and 20% inpatient adults. The facility may also be able to accommodate a therapist interested in a pediatrics-only caseload.

Responsibilities

• Perform speech, language, cognitive, feeding, and swallowing evaluations as appropriate.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical findings.
• Provide outpatient therapy to pediatric patients with a variety of communication and developmental needs.
• Evaluate and treat adult patients in an inpatient acute care environment.
• Educate patients, parents, and caregivers on therapy strategies and home programs.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation and progress reporting.

Requirements

• Ohio SLP license required.
• CCC-SLP required.
• BLS required.
• 3+ years of experience required.
• Pediatric experience required.
• Outpatient experience required.
• Experience treating adult patients preferred for the mixed caseload.
• Must be comfortable working independently across applicable settings.
